WANDERER GALLERY

Created by Wanderers. Preserved in The Vault.

The Wanderer Gallery is a curated space for the people who find meaning in the dark.

This is where Wanderers can leave behind something of their own — a confession, reflection, poem, artwork, photograph, piece of writing, testimony, or creation inspired by Lost Confessions, INCISION, The Anatomy of a Wound, or the ideas explored throughout The Vault.

Not everything submitted will be published automatically. Every entry is reviewed before it becomes part of the Gallery so the space can remain intentional, respectful, and true to the atmosphere of Lost Confessions.

You can submit anonymously or choose to be credited.

Leave something of yourself in The Vault.

Untitled Bat — Wanderer Gift

Created by a Wanderer, inspired by A. V. Cerna and the world that would become Lost Confessions.

Created for me four years ago by someone who connected with my style and story, this drawing features a bat set against a deep red background. The piece feels especially meaningful because it was not commissioned as part of Lost Confessions—it came from someone who saw something in my aesthetic, experiences, and creative identity and chose to turn that inspiration into art.

The bat fits naturally into the world of Lost Confessions: nocturnal, misunderstood, and drawn to the dark, yet still capable of movement, instinct, and transformation. The red background gives the piece an almost visceral intensity, making it feel both gothic and personal.

Years later, I still see it as a reminder that art can travel between people. Sometimes your story becomes someone else’s inspiration, and what they create becomes part of your own archive in return.

Broken Beautiful — Handwritten Note

Given to me years ago by someone who had been inspired by my story, this handwritten note reads:

“Beautiful like art. I love that you are broken, broken like I am.”

He told me that hearing my story made him want to become a better person. What stayed with me wasn't the idea of being “broken,” but the recognition behind his words—the feeling that another person had seen parts of their own experience reflected in mine.

I kept the note for years, long before Lost Confessions or The Wanderer Gallery existed. Looking at it now, it feels like an early artifact of what The Vault would eventually represent: people finding connection through the parts of ourselves we don't always know how to explain.

His words weren't polished or written for an audience. They were simply something one person felt compelled to leave with another.

A Lost Confession from before The Vault had a name.

When I Didn’t Know I Could Be Someone’s Light — Handwritten Letter

This letter was written to me by a girl I had known for only a few days during one of the darkest periods of my own life.

In that short amount of time, she trusted me with pieces of her story. I listened. I shared whatever knowledge and perspective I could give her, encouraged her when she was struggling to take care of herself, and tried to make sure she knew that someone genuinely saw her.

What makes this letter so meaningful to me is when it was written.

At the time, I felt like I was at one of the lowest points in my own story. I didn't think of myself as someone who had much to give anyone else. Yet somehow, while I was trying to understand my own life, I was still able to leave something meaningful in someone else's.

I kept her letter.

Four or five years later, we are still in contact. We are still friends. What began as two people meeting in a difficult place became something neither of us could have predicted at the time.

Looking back, this letter reminds me that we rarely know the full impact we have on another person. You don't have to have everything figured out before your kindness, knowledge, creativity, or willingness to listen can mean something.

Long before I created The Wanderer Gallery, she left me something worth preserving.

Now it has a place in The Vault.

Sometimes the person searching for light is still capable of carrying some for someone else.
